WEEK ONE
Tuesday, May 20
Making Film and Television Seminar
Instructor: Cameron Pearce
Location: Johnson Theatre
This seminar will examine the technical side of producing television and film. Lead by an Emmy Award-winning professional film editor and cinematographer who has worked with artists such as Jewel and Neyo. The workshop will be a great start to understanding how movie magic is really made.

Arts as a Business - Local and Successful
Instructors: Lynden Harris, Sidney Horton, Michael Simmons, Dan Shoemaker, and Kathy Williams
Location: Johnson Hall, Studio Theatre
The class will feature: Lynden Harris, artistic director of ArtsCenter Stage since 2001; Michael Simmons, artistic director of the Carolina Actor's Studio; Dan Shoemaker, artistic director of the Actors Theatre of Charlotte; Kathy Williams, performance director of Hidden Voices. These professional artists will tell how they have achieved success locally and globally from within the parameters of their own communities.

Friday, May 23
Arts as a Business - Local and Successful
Instructors: Dennis Delamar, Chandler Parker and Brian Robinson
Location: Johnson Hall, Studio Theatre
The class will feature:Dennis Delmar, professional local actor and director; Chandler Parker, professional actor of film, TV and theatre; Brian Robinson, professional local actor. These professional artists will tell how they have achieved success locally and globally from within the parameters of their own communities.

Monday, May 26
Arts as a Business: Getting Seen, Being Seen, Staying Seen
Instructors: CANCELLED

Tuesday, May 27
Theater Instruction
Instructors: Paul Whitty
Location: Johnson Hall, Rm. 103
This class will examine the use of four character masks as training tools used to release performer's inihibitions.
