COURSE INFORMATION
MAYMESTER 2008 - MAY 19 - JUNE 6
THRT 397 Advanced Arts as Social Commentary: Students will
work daily with professional scriptwriters and actors to
co-create an original play focused on the political process
leading to the selection of the President of the United
States. Students will also be engaged in the creation and
performance of their own original works and will receive
hands-on experience with industry professionals. This is an
intensive festival intended for the most serious of student
professionals in training for careers in theatre, TV and
film.
THRT 397 Advanced Arts as Social Commentary/Dance Component: Students will work daily with professional choreographers from around the country and be engaged in the creation and
performance of their own original works and will receive
hands-on experience with industry professionals.

TOTAL TUITION COST: $500
Student housing if required: $354/per student
Meal plans: Café Cash for the week - $45/wk 3 weeks = $135 15 meals per week - $90/wk 3 weeks = $270 21 meals per week - $110/wk 3 weeks = $330
THRT 397 (May 19 through June 6, 2008) will include:

Maymester term.

* If you are a current Winthrop University student, you may register for Create Carolina classes by logging into Wingspan and registering online.
- Non-Winthrop students
* If you are not a current Winthrop student your registration will be completed manually.
* Non-winthrop students should complete the following application form and the residency form.
